Door-to-door auto transport means the truck driver will pick up and deliver your vehicle as close to your home as possible. However, some cities have restrictions on large trucks that prevent them from entering certain residential areas. If your home is inaccessible due to narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps, or tight turns, the driver may request to meet you at a nearby large parking lot, such as one at a grocery store.
While you don’t need to be physically present at the pickup location, it’s highly recommended to have a representative at both the pickup and delivery points if you’re unavailable. The representative must be at least 18 years old.
